contraception

contraception
This word (from the Latin contra, meaning "against," and concipere, meaning "to conceive") refers to the deliberate prevention of conception through the use of artificial means or procedures that prevent conception from taking place; because contraception directly interferes with the procreative purpose of marriage, it is morally unacceptable.
Seebirth control; natural family planning. (See CCC 2370)
